摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To safely execute melting and refining at high efficiency by obtaining the stoichiometric oxygen balance from analyzed value of direct reduction iron pellet, blending iron oxide pellet or coke according to the obtd. value and charging it into a melting furnace. CONSTITUTION:The iron oxide pellet is directly reduced under dry reducing atmosphere. Carbon content, total iron content and pure iron ratio to the total iron content (metallized ratio) in the direct reduction iron pellet obtd. are analyzed. Successively, the stoichiometric oxygen balance in the direct reduction iron pellet is obtd. from this analyzed value. This stoichiometric oxygen balance is desirable to obtain from the equation: carbon content - (carbon atomic wt./oxygen atomic wt.)X(oxygen atomic wt./iron atomic wt.)X(the total iron content - reduction iron content). When the obtd. value deviates from the prescribed range, the iron oxide pellent or the coke is blended to this direct reduction iron an charged into the melting furnace to execute the melting. By this method, by promoting the melting, the productivity of high efficinecy is secured or by balancing with the dissolved oxygen quantity, bumping is prevented.</p>
