An aquarium cleaning device comprising a pump having a radial impeller 3 which is received in a pump casing 2, a tubular handle 4 extending upwardly from the pump casing 2, a housing 7 which accommodates a motor 5 and batteries 6, a suction pipe 16 fitted to an inlet port 15 of the pump, and a filter bag 13 fitted to an outlet port 12 in the pump casing, is characterised in that the front end 17 of the suction pipe 16 is open and extends at a slant in a downward direction relative to the axis of the tubular handle 4, and a flat scraper plate 18 and break-up hoe 20 are attached thereto. The cleaning device can thus be employed both for cleaning the sand bed of an aquarium tank and for cleaning the tank walls. <IMAGE> |
