<p>A reinforcing filler for silicone rubber is produced by the anionic polymerisation of styrene with divinylbenzene crosslinking agent. The polymerisation is terminated with an agent which reacts with the polymer to produce groups which are reactive with silicone rubber-during cure. Suitable terminating agents include hexamethyltrisiloxane and allyl dimethylchlorosilane.</p> |
