发明名称 DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To allow multipoint distance measurement over a wide range while the same accuracy as the accuracy at the time of distance measurement at one point by providing the multipoint distance measuring device of an active type for autofocus cameras with a light emitting device at right and left side of the receiving means consisting of 1-dimensional position detecting element or at the position of the prescribed opening angle and measuring the distance. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with 1st light emitting elements 1, 1' which project light to an object via the 1st projecting lens 2 and 2nd light emitting elements 3, 3' which project light to the subject via the 2nd projecting lens 4. The device is provided with a position detecting element 6 which receives the reflected light from the object via a light receiving lens 5 disposed in the position apart a prescribed distance respectively form the 1st and 2nd projecting lenses 2, 4 and changes the signal to be outputted in accordance with the photodetected position and an arithmetic means 7 which computes the distance to the subject by using the output of the position detecting element 6. The distance measuring device of the multipoint distance measuring AF camera which can make the distance measurement over the wide range of about the same degree even at any distance measuring points is obtd. in this way while the same accuracy as the accuracy of the conventional one point distance measuring type autofocus AF.
