A flat structure with a relief-textured surface and with a printed pattern in registration with the relief texture is produced. A printing carrier (1) is provided with a printed pattern and a repeat embossing and is then coated with a polymer dispersion. The coating is at least pre-gelled, whereupon the surface, facing away from the printing carrier, of the at least pre-gelled polymer layer is provided with a carrier material. Finally, the printing carrier (1a) free of the printed pattern is separated from the polymer layer. <IMAGE> |
