The soil levelling tool comprises a drag plate (1) and a sowing machine. In or on the plate, protrusions (4) are provided of constant shape to produce soil drills to receive the seed. These protrusions may consists of V-section ridges pressed into or welded on to the plate, and may be independently movable. The protrusions may consist of disc segments mounted above the plate and extending through slots, which segments may be independently supported and/or may be independently vertically movable. Immediately behind the protrusions there may be orifices (5) of seed supply tubes through which the seed drops into the drills. Behind the orifices there may be rakes to cover the seed with soil.
