<p>The snow grips for the tyre comprise a set of hoops each formed from a first section (1) to grip around the tyre, and a second, side section (1) to lie along one face of the wheel. The ends of the side sections (3, 4) are linked together into sliding joints to form a closed ring, while the spacing of the hoops around the tyre is controlled by sets of chains linking the hoops. The hoops are easily fitted, with the end hoops clipped together to complete the chain. When removed the hoops stack together into a compact package. The hoops ensure good, even grip.</p> |
