Hand operated parking disc brake - has actuating lever and carrier spring for restoring to rest position

The disc brake is used as parking hand brake for motor vehicles. The friction pads are arranged on each side of a disc. The pad actuating levers are connected by a lever system to a manual actuating lever or foot pedal. The carrier is connected with the pad actuating lever and the carrier and pad actuating lever can be rotated independently of each other on common shaft. The actuating lever (9) has a rod (13) which rests on the carrier (6). A spring loaded pulley (15) holds the carrier (6) in contact with this bar so that in correct position the carrier (6) will find its inactive position. The carrier is rotated by spring (15) loaded pulley (16) into this rest position.
