Photographic flash bulb circuit arrangement - uses flash actuated switches in series with bulbs to connect bulbs in sequence

The flash bulb assembly contains at least two combustion type flashbulbs. The bulbs are connected across two input terminals of the assembly and can be illuminated one after the other. The assembly has a first branch which interconnects input terminals. A switching element is activated by the illumination of the last illuminated lamp. The switching envelope being outside the lamps envelope. The switching element is an actuating switch. A part belonging to the first branch and containing the switch electrically shunts a record branch which includes a lamp not yet illuminated. The branch containing the switch and belonging to the shunt part presents, after the illumination of the lamp which causes its actuation, a low ohmic value. Thus the ohmic value of the branch is less than that of the shunt part before illumination of the lamp which caused the switches operation.
