<p>A rigid sheet (1) of cardboard has partition strips (3) secured to it. The strips each comprise a base flap (5) which is glued to the sheet and a flap (4) having a line of fold with a flap. The packaging is stored in a flat condition with the flaps down. These overlap so that the thickness of the packaging is that of the sheet and two flaps. In use the flaps are erected and articles (A) to be packed are inserted between adjacent flaps which, together with a base flap, provide secure protection on three sides.</p> |
