摘要 <p>An iodine monitor for continuous individual measurement of iodine components in the atmos. operates by a scintillators which detect the quantum radiation produced as the iodine decays. These scintillators are mounted parallel to the air flow through a duct and the space between the scintillators and the inner wall of the duct is completely filled by filters. Two separate scintillators are mounted in two separate ducts; the ducts possess a common inlet and common outlet and are mounted in a common housing. The filter associated with one scintillator adsorbs alliodine components, while the other filter, associated with the other scintillator adsorbs elementary and/or easily adsorbed iodine. Used in particular for monitoring air discharged from a nuclear power plant, in order to measure its radioactive iodine content and the possible effects of various levels of components of this iodine.</p>
