Extruded ceramic curved filling profiles - are pressed through curved channel and profiled by roller before separation

The curved filling profiles are made from ceramic materials which are moulded in plastic state. The filling profiles have curved cross section and the curved edges can have waveform shape. These profiles are made by continuous process and effort involved on making is reduced. The extrusion press has nozzle with curved moulding channel (4). The latter has also driven lobe profiled rollers (5) with support guide (6). The curved, extruded part is passed between the rollers and support guide for edge profiling. The profile is cut by wire which separates the completed extruded and profiled component on upwards or downwards movement.
