Reversible continuous mine track traction cable drive - has reversing pulleys as drive pulleys with hydraulic motors

In the traction cable drive, esp. for track sectors in mines, the reversable-direction cable is continuously led between a motor-driven pulley and a remote reversal position. It is held braced relative to the pulley by a hydraulically adjustable reversing pulley directly fitted to the section of cable running from driving pulley to reversal position. The reversing pulleys (6) are made in the form of driving pulleys by fitting their own individual hydraulic motors (12). The transmittable rotational moment of these is less than that of the main drive pulley (1).
