<p>The level measurement system is for liquids or pourable solid materials but in particular for steam boilers and storage which handle steam with a changing water level. Two measuring electrodes (10, 11) filled with a changing resistive, capacitive, or inductive material are fitted to the container (1) so that they are completely covered by the liquid. Two reference electrodes (15, ule filled with the same material are connected to the same control unit (14). Further pairs of reference electrodes are fitted at different heights within the container. The system operates independently of the quality condition of the liquid being measured. The control unit (14) contains a micro-processor to compare and correct signals and to provide the necessary control instructions.</p> |
