Telephone subscriber metering circuit - feeds pulses to counter which delivers meter pulse on reaching predetermined count

A circuit arrangement is used for metering conversation -duration-dependent charges of telephone calls between subscribers. It includes a pulse counter (M1) and a central pulse generator (G1). When a subscriber (FA) completes a connection by way of his subscriber switching apparatus (TS) to a second subscriber, an input of a pulse counter (M1) is connected to an input (1) of a first exchange group apparatus (I.GG). The pulse counter is also connected directly to a central pulse generator (G1) and on receiving a signal of the start of the conversation from the group apparatus, commences to count. On reaching a predetermined count, the counter delivers a metering pulse to the group apparatus which records a charge unit. The counter (M1) is then reset to zero, and if the conversation continues, starts to count again.
