<p>The snap action safety belt locking device is situated inside a housing (10) with a bottom opening (12). From this opening a hollow space (14) extends towards one of the housing walls facing the opening. The housing (10) is joined to the belt by connections (22, 23). A latch (24) connects with the belt or locking joint (20). A bolt (28) in the shape of a pin or in the alternative shape of a rod, glides along a plate (35) until it reaches the latch (24) and clicks shut. the latch can also have an alternative surface (30) by which it connects with the locking joint (20). A compression spring (32) connects the bolt (28) with the latch (24). a compressor key (34) serving as an unlocking device, disconnects the bolt (28) from the latch (24).</p> |
