<p>The machine for printing advertising matter on roads has a rubber tyre (1) which bears the required characters in raised form at its circumference. The tyre is supported by a hub rotatably connected to a frame (2) having a handle (3) by which an operator can push the machine along the road. The frame supports a container (4) for a printing fluid and a roller for applying the fluid to the printing characters. The fluid may be water, which would become noticeable on a dry road surface, or an easily water-soluble ink.</p> |
