PTFE-coated ball cock used in contact with corrosive materials - the ball being clamped between two PTFE-lined connectors, using PTFE seating rings

PTFE-lined ball cock, used in contact with corrosive substances, is claimed. The ball comprises a PTFE-coated metal core clamped between 2 PTFE-lined metal connecting pieces lying upon a common main axis, using interposted PTFE seating rings. The ball is actuated by means of a PTFE-coated spindle which is perpendicular to the main axis and surrounded by a packing material. The parting plane between the connecting pieces coincides with the main central plane of the ball and the longitudinal axis of the spindle which forms an integral body with the ball.
