1471842 Polyurethane foams BAYER AG 30 Jan 1975 [30 Jan 1974] 4049/75 Heading C3R Polyurethane foams are prepared in a closed mould, there being incorporated in the foamforming reaction mixture a mould release agent which is the reaction product of 0À8 to 4 mol of ricinoleic acid and 1 mol of a fatty acid which contains more than 8 carbon atoms. The mould release agent is most preferably a reaction product of 0À9 to 2 mol of ricinoleic acid and 1 mol of oleic acid, soya oil fatty acid or tall oil fatty acid. Conventional mould release agents may also be incorporated in the reaction mixture. The foams may comprise a compact outer skin. |
