<p>1525101 Homophthalimide derivatives AGFAGEVAERT AG 21 Jan 1976 [24 Jan 1975] 2294/76 Heading C2C [Also in Divisions G2 and G3] 2-Hexadecyl-homophthalimide is prepared by heating to 200‹ C. for 1 hour homophthalic acid and hexadecylamine. 2-Hexadecyl-4-(1-phenyltetrazol-5-ylthio)-homophthalimide is prepared by refluxing the above compound, 1-phenyl-5- mercapto-tetrazole disulphide, bromine and chloroform. 2-(2-Tetradecyloxyphenyl)-homophthalimide is prepared by heating to 200‹ C. for 1 hour homophthalic acid and 2-tetradecyloxyaniline. 2-(2- Tetradecyloxy - phenyl) - 4 - (1 - phenyl - tetrazol - 5 - ylthio) - homophthalimide is prepared by refluxing the last prepared compound, 1-phenyl- 5-tetrazolyl-sulphenyl chloride and chloroform.</p> |
