<p>The present invention provides a laminated paper product comprising a porous paper layer and a layer of a plastics material such as polyethylene or polypropylene, the attachment between said layers being of varied strength and preferably there being sections with good attachment between the layers alternating between sections with no attachment between the layers. The porosity of the paper ensures no air pockets occur between the layers. The paper product is useful as a tablecloth, a disposable bed-sheet or other soft folding cloth substitute material.</p> |
