A packaging container, which is suitable, for example, for milk, consists of a packaging material which is provided with a plastic coating at least on one side. Provided for forming a removal aperture for the contents are lines of weakness (8) which bound an aperture. At the places (edges, corners, etc.) subjected to greater loading when the packaging material is converted, the material weakening is less than at the other places in order to avoid unintentional tearing-open of the line of weakness and thus the container becoming leaky. The material weakening is differentiated by the different ratio of the effective length of the line of weakness to the length of the intermediate spaces. It has been found, in particular, that, with the same individual lengths of the effective weakening lines and intermediate spaces, the strength with small intermediate spaces is greater than with larger intermediate spaces. <IMAGE> |
