PURPOSE:To reduce stress concentration as well as make the outer diameter of a flange part smaller by forming the connecting part between the flange and a base part of a small diameter curved face part connected to the flange and a large diameter curved face part connected to the base part. CONSTITUTION:In a coupling flange, the connecting part between a base part 1 and a flange part 5 is formed of a curved face part 6, the radius R02 of the curved face part 6a on the base part 1 side where relatively large stress is generated is larger than the simple radius of the existing curved face and the radius (r) of the curved face part 6b on the flange 5 side where relatively small stress is generated is smaller than the existing simple radius. The outer diameter D2 of the flange part 5 can be thus made smaller even if the base part is the same in diameter as the existing one, so that the concentration of stress generated at the connecting part between the base part and the flange part can be sufficiently reduced. |
