Weighing machine with electronic indicator - has levers suspended by steel strips to transmit load to sensor

A weighing machine or scale has levers and steel strips to transmit the load to an indicator of weight. It does not have knife-edge pivots susceptible to wear. The weighing scales has a balance lever (1) which actuates a stirrup on the end of a steel strip (4). The steel strip (4) transmits a load to levers (5, 6) suspended by steel strips (7) in frames (8). The last lever (6) is connected to a chain (10) which is in turn connected to an electronic indicator (9).
