<p>In a connection between a fabric web (2) and a tube (1) e.g. for a roller blind, an edge of the web is secured to a rigid flat section strip (6) lying in a groove (3) in the surface of the tube. The groove has undercut sides each defined by a lip (4, 5) overhanging the groove. The strip is engaged with the groove by being first entered with one of its edges under the one lip so that the other edge can clear the other lip. The lip is wider than the other so as to retain the strip against pull on the web in the direction toward the other lip.</p> |
