<p>The stapling machine for use in packing case assembly comprises a support frame, with one or more stapling heads for metal clamps and a peripheral frame acting on the case and reversal head to reverse driven clamps from inside. For connecting the reversal head and frame, the head is moved to and fro from a rest position to operative position in contact with the case. Movement is also provided to and fro parallel to the case on the conveyor and also between a rest position and an elevated position above the frame track. Synchronisation of the connector movements is effected by controls for relative movement of the heads and passage of the cases.</p> |
