Pasta food prod. is enclosed in a sealed package under vacuum being precooked to about 2/3 of the total cooking required. The prod. is stored in a frozen state, and the package contains a piece of ice, inserted immediately before the package is sealed, after the pasta has been inserted. The pasta is finally cooked by immersing the package in boiling water for the remainder of the time required to completely cook the contents.The ice ensures that the contents are satisfactorily cooked, and that the texture is sufficiently moist, the moisture being evenly distributed. |
