<p>A method of transferring designs, symbols, letters etc. uses a membrane of resilient plastic. The patterns to be transferred are marked in ink on the undersurface of the membrane, which is mounted on a rigid rectangular frame. The frame is placed on the surface to which the patterns are to be transferred and the membrane pressed down locally in the required area of the transfer. On releasing, the pressure, the membrane springs back to its original flat shape. The frame can then be re-positioned to transfer a different symbol or letter on another part of the surface.</p> |
