<p>Wild animal protective fencing, esp. erected where wild animals move from one location to another, or alongside roads where accidents are likely, uses a post designed to stand up to the weight of larger animals. It is made from metal bar with closed hollow profile and fixture hooks, or similar, for stretched wire strands, fitted in full-length ribs. One two opposite parts the circular post (1) has a radially extending fold (2) to form one rid, and a wedge-shaped extension (3) to form the other rib. The latter can have acutely converging flanks (6, 7) with a rounded junction point (8). The hooks may be fitted in this wedge extension.</p> |
