Ceramic electrical machine parts riveting device - heats metal rivet before and during riveting process by passing electric current through it

The riveting device, is used for fastening together parts made of brittle material. It is used for fixing stators and/or rotors to ceramic supports in trimmer capacitors. It heats the metal rivet before and during riveting by passing an electric current through it. A constant pressure is first applied to the rivet: the current is then passed through it whilst the applied pressure is maintained constant until riveting is complete. The rivet consists of a solid cylinder with an axial hole at one end and a stepped-down cross-section.
