Measurement electrical power and energy - with sensing time error compensation using intermediate storage and interpolation
摘要

The method is for measuring electrical power and energy by conversion of sensed values of voltage and current into pulses with average values corresp. to the voltage and current levels and involves voltage-current multiplication by logical pulse combination. It is designed considerably to reduce residual sensing time errors using an interpretation circuit and to avoid the disadvantages of h.f. sensing hitherto necessary to reduce such errors. Pulses are held in intermediate digital stores and a switch synchronised with the sensor and a logic combination network used to produce pulses with probability proportional to the interpolated values. Another logic network produces pulses with probability proportional to the interpolated and non-interpolated pulse product.
