The ends of information sections of the tapes used for recording sound signals bear markings which adjust a control during playback. This control stops the tape until it is started up again. The magnetic tape has at least two soundtracks, one of which receives the sound signals. An acoustically controlled coding signal transmitter (22) imprints on the other track as a marking an audio signal of a certain duration when the sound signal is terminated. The sound head (31) is connected to the preamplifier (21) which receives a signal from the microphone (34). This signal is recorded via the sound head on the track (1).
