Continuous drum filter - with wiper on slotted screen drum outside scraping residue in flushing gutter

A continuous filter to remove fluff and fibres from effluents in dye works consists of a revolving drum screen through which the liquid is passed. A stationary wiper device removes the residue retained on the screen surface and scrapes it into a gutter from which it is flushed away. This is a simple design and requires a minimum of maintenance. All fibrous suspended particles are reliably and inexpensively removed from the liquid.
