PURPOSE:To enable installation of components in a main frame without using additional supporting members by installing a pinch roller unit in a main frame which has an integral construction of side frames, a base and a paper guide. CONSTITUTION:A main frame 62 made of die-cast aluminum is formed integrally with a pair of right and left side frames 63, a base 64 and a paper guide 65. Also integrated are a receiver 81 for an operation shaft 50 to fit into for installation of a pinch roller unit 46; a receiver 82 for a boss 56 of a middle lever 51 to fit into; a stopper 84 to prevent slipping off of an operation lever 52 from its supporting shaft 83; a receiver 86 for coil springs 5 which fit into roller arms 49; arm guides 88 that guide both of the roller arms 49; and notches 40 for positioning a feed roller 33 and a pinch roller 47. The above results in reduction in the number of components which form the main frame. Thus, the assembling work is simplified. |
