<p>The item of furniture is adjustable in height and could be a table as well as a chair. The chair illustrated has a telescopic leg. This leg consists of an inner square tube to which are attached the support feet. An outer square tube fits over the inner square tube. The support for the back-rest is connected to the outer square tube. The seat is supported by a U-shaped rail beneath the seat. A winding spindle is contained inside the U shaped seat support. The opposite end of the winding spindle is activated by a handle which fits the shape of the nut controlling the seat adjustment.</p> |
