摘要 Hydrogen-permeable membrane catalysts are prepd. based on Pd or Pd alloys. A layer of an organosilicon polymer is applied to the surface of a metal ceramic plate 0.05-1 mm thick, which is based on Ni, Cu or stainless steel. The organosilicon polymer is then vulcanised at 20-150 degrees C to give a film 0.1-1 mm thick. A 0.001-0.1 mum thick layer of PD (alloy) is then applied to the polymer film. The catalysts are useful for hydrogenation, dehydrogenation, dehydrocyclisation, hydrogen redistribution, hydrodealkylation and other reactions e.g. in the chemical and petroleum industries. The catalysts are esp. useful for the hydrogenation of unsatd. organic cpds. partic. the conversion of cyclopentadiene into cyclopentene.
