<p>The grinding belt runs over driven roller and control rollers. The sideways position of the belt on the rollers is controlled by a pneumatic stop which consists of an output jet and a receiver which probe the edge of the belt. A control signal generated by the receiver acts on one of two air cylinders which will swing the control roller in such a way that the belt drift will be reversed. The control system induces a constant sideways oscillation of the belt. If the pneumatic control is inadequate, a pressure switch in the air cylinder line will switch on adjusting motor using a time relay.</p> |
