Laundry or dishwashing machine has the front door provided with decorative panel changing facilities to suit the kitchen colour scheme, in that the front door is composed of two panels, a front one and a rear one, respectively. The panels are attached to one another by setting devices for relative adjustment w.r.t. to a side frame member to cater for any thickness of decorative panel received between the member and the front panel. The front panel is supported by a screw forming part of the setting device and the rear panel is provided with a nut, which is concealed by a cover plate retained in a captive manner.
