1524265 Adjusting a quartz crystal oscillator SEIKOSHA KK 8 Sept 1976 [10 Sept 1975] 37216/76 Heading H1E A GT-cut quartz crystal oscillator is adjusted with regard to its frequency and temperature characteristics, by adjusting the ratio between a longer side and a shorter side thereof to make the frequency temperature coefficient zero, and adjusting the size and/or shape of an electrode film on the oscillator to achieve a desired resonant frequency. A graph (Fig. 2, not shown) gives the required side ratio as about 0À85. The electrode film has portions removed therefrom, e.g. by a laser, or added; the removed portions may be strips or rows of holes along longitudinal margins of the faces. |
