<p>A method of and apparatus for the continuous or batch drying of a material, e.g. a painted surface or a glued laminate, uses microwave energy for heating and a cooling air flow for removing moisture from the material. The air, thus heated, is redirected to the material at a preheating position to preheat the material prior to the heating of the material by the microwave energy.</p> |
