PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability by easily and accurately diagnosing the remaining lifetime of an insulator within an incoming panel in a power receiving/transforming facility.SOLUTION: According to a remaining lifetime diagnosing method of an insulator in a power receiving/transforming facility, when diagnosing the remaining lifetime of the insulator within an incoming panel in the power receiving/transforming facility, dust within the incoming panel is sampled, surface resistivity of the insulator is calculated from the amount of ions contained in the dust, a temperature history and a humidity history. The remaining lifetime of the insulator is estimated by a threshold value determined from the surface resistivity of the insulator, surface resistivity of a brand-new insulator, the number of years of using the insulator and the amount of the dust. |
