PURPOSE:To enable feedback of outputs to an operator to be accurately carried out by connecting a first reaction chamber to the accumulating chamber of a stroke accumulator, and by constituting the device so that a fluid pressure can be produced in the accumulation chamber in accordance with the volumetric contraction of the first reaction chamber. CONSTITUTION:A first reaction chamber 221 whose volume is contracted in accordance with the forward movement of a booster piston 17, and a second reaction chamber 222 which is communicated with the first reaction chamber 221 and whose volume is contracted in accordance with the forward movement of a main driving piston 19 are provided inside a booster body 14, and inside the booster piston 17 respectively. When a brake pedal 2 is stepped in for moving forward the main driving piston 19, in accordance with the forward movement thereof, a fluid pressure is introduced into a boost chamber 132, and receiving the fluid pressure, the booster piston 17 is moved forward, thereby pressure is accumulated in the accumulating chamber 68 of a stroke accumulator 65 from the first reaction chamber 221, so that the pressure inside the accumulating chamber 68 is transmitted to the first and the second reaction chambers 221, 222 to provide a reaction force to the main driving piston 19. This reaction force is not produced before the action of the forward movement of the piston 17. |
