A camera (1) having a motor (2) and lens (3) is fixed to a bracket (4) connected to the front short link (5) of a parallelogram linkage. The other short side (6) has an extension which is adjustable along a support (12) by a handle (11). A spring (9) is connected diagonally across the parallelogram linkage and the force it exerts is adjustable by a handle (10) to balance the weight of the camera and hold the linkage as a rectangle. Support (12) can rest on either shoulder of the operator and has corresp. night and left -hand handles (14, 15). A damper (16) damps movements of camera and linkage.
