Rotary IC engine with concentric inlet - has combustion chamber separate from expansion chamber with secondary fluid injected through nozzles into expansion chamber

The engine has a stator (1) in which a rotor (2) revolves concentrically with the output shaft. The rotor has a circumferential slot (3) which forms the expansion chamber. The expanding gases press on the step at the end of the slot. The combustion chamber is separate from the expansion chamber and is formed as a recess (4) in the bore of the stator. The sparking plug is in this chamber. A vane (9) slides in a slot in the stator and is spring loaded to press on the rotor. A secondary fluid passes in a coil (5) round the combustion chamber and is injected through nozzles (8) into the expansion chamber formed by the rotor slot.
