Half frame for pliable factory door - has pivoting cantilever head member coupled to post by torsion spring and set on angle bracket

The pliable door comprises a supple leaf mounted on a half-frame (1, 2) which has torsion springing (8) which allows the leaf to pivot and return to repose. The door may be used in factories and is of the type which vehicles can drive through and push open. The half frame members absorb the shocks. The half frame has a cantilever arm (1) and a post (2) which support the top edge and one side of the leaf. The cantilever (1) projects radially from a length of vertical shaft (3) in turn mounted on a vertical axle (4). The axle (4) is set in a corner bracket (5, 7) and the foot of the shaft (3) locates a coil spring (8). The two ends (9) of the spring (8) project on either side of a stop (10) projecting from the cantilever (1). The axle (4) projects downwards to form a mounting for the head (11) of the post (2). The foot of the post is fixed (13-19) to the wall, and an 'L' shaped plate (12) cantilevers from the head (11) for the leg (12) to also locate between the two spring arms (9).
