<p>Combined stool and step ladder consists of a box (6) with a base (3) and sides (4) and (5) mounted on castors (1) and (2). A board (12) which forms the lower step rests on blocks (13, 14) and carried a central hinge (17), which supports the upright (15) and upper step (16). The upright (15) and rubber step (16) are held rigid by a hinged stay. (10, 11). When used as a stool the hinged stay (10, 11) is folded upwards to allow the upright (15) to swing downwards onto the board (12) with the step (16) folded at the hinge (18). The seat (8) is then folded downwards tand is supported on the edges of the walls (4, 5) of the box (6).</p> |
