<p>The seal is of the type where an elastic sealing ring is fed with fluid under pressure. The sealed joint is made inside a box that fastens to the partition, between the box and a sleeve that fits the axle tightly. Sealing rings are pref. used to seal the joint between the exterior of the box and the sleeve, enclosing the main seal between them. The box pref. contains the channels for the pressure fluid. Both box and sleeve are pref. of polyethylene.</p> |
