<p>The slitting wheel (29) and drive motor housing (28) for cutting pipes are supported at the end of a lever (16). The lever can pivot about a point (15) on the base of the arrangement. A roller (18) mounted on the end of the lever is pressed by the weight of the drive unit against the surface of the material (30) to be cut. The material to be cut is supported on a fixed roller (8) and a roller (13) which can be moved on a guide (9), to suit the dia. of the material. The slitting wheel with drive can be pivoted about a point (21) on the end of the lever on which it is mounted. This enables the wheel to be brought into engagement with the material.</p> |
