Radial seal is composed of a polymeric material of two different moduli of elasticity and has an annular support ring for supporting a radially inwardly directed sealing lip. The ring also supports a collar at its outer periphery, the lip and collar being made of a material having the same modulus of elasticity. Metallic reinforcing rings are not required and the ring can be made in a single operative step in injection mould.
