<p>An apparatus for the determination of CO2 and other gases, e.g. for the flue gas analysis of heating plant, uses several flasks with reagents through which the gas is sucked and which indicate by the colour change of an indicator additive the reading directly. The flasks are joined by taps which can be opened to mix their contents. This enables even unskilled people to check their own heating installation for efficient combustion. It requires only very simple equipment and ready-made chemical reagents.</p> |
